meeting

Post  martin on Fri Mar 28, 2008 10:40 am

looking at the forum lately we seem to be getting one or two more local members. what about getting our heads together and sorting out a pub meet for everyone to get together and we can all put names to faces. this is only a suggestion because i don't want to stand on anyone else toes if they have got something in the pipeline any suggestions and dates are welcome.

what do you think about this Rob? as you seem to be the main man

we will be at the mud club meet this tuesday

thanks
martin

Just thought,

Quite a few members seem to be on Mudclub, why not combine the meeting with that one?

yeah i would say keep it seperate as well it always works best this way, then if people want to go to the mud club meet then fine, but by setting up our own meet we can do the things that we want to and not have to abide by other peoples rules and views etc. this forum is different to mud club so should have it's own pub meet etc.

thanks

Best to have a seperate meet, i know and am a member of 2 other forums that go to the swan (mc meet). Plus it is a 45 minute drive for me.

I agree with this, we need to keep it seperate so we can do our own thing, at the end of the day sniff my diff was set up so local people can enjoy getting together and laning or p/p.

I spoke to Martin last night and i think the old corn mill at cooper bridge is the most suited place and i agree that sunday night is good for me as well.

If everyone agree's with sunday i can set a date next week.

leeds cruise? that wouldn't be the ine down at junction 1 of the m621 near elland road on the 2nd sat of the month would it?
we used to go down there every month without fail along with wakefield as we are ex cruisers on the custom scene. I think a group of landrovers would be out of place at that cruise when the car park is full of yanks and rods. No offence so don'tget me wrong on this, i am up for a laugh as long as everyone else is.

been there when other people have tried it

yeah thats the one. nothing wrong with taking anything you want. obvoisly you wouldnt turn up early and park in the front spaces, just at the back, every spectator goes in a rep car, why not go in a land rover. seen a few nice range rovers etc there.

everything exept Part Time Cruisers is welcome
