Update

Post  Admin on Sun Apr 27, 2008 8:30 am

Hi Guys, been megga busy at work over the last few weeks so have not been on much.

After our day at Frickley i damaged the following things

both rear half shafts
rear diff

The front diff had been showing signs of failure and i have decided to have my old true track mended while the chap at crown differentials has my rear locker.

I have been pricing up HD half shafts but 300 quid is to much money!!

The diffs should be ready next week so will get them fitted asap so i can go to driffield.

For those who are going to driffield look out for my motor as it will be on the humberside/Yorkshire 4x4 response stand.

apparently bearmach do some shafts they call 'V8 shafts' which are meant to be a bit stronger than the standard kit and they are meant to cost sod all.

Okay after 3-4 hours fighting with the stub axle i finally got it out !!!!!!

It seems the O/S half shaft has twisted and stopping the stub axle comming out.

Trip to paddocks tomorrow to buy a new half shaft!
