vitara wont go into 1st and occasionaly wont get 3rd any ideas all other gears ok...?

Pm waterbabies 4x4 there a zuki mad....


I had a issue on a old disco like this and it turned out to be the gear selector (small plastic locator on top of gear box) to have moved.... maybe worth checking.

What the hell is happening i thought the Landy section would be full of technical issues nice to see a knacked zuke for once lol!

has it got a body lift.
cos that will affect the gear selection.
if not then it will be the little plastic bit in the bottom of the selector hole.

ok further prob, changed gear lever assembly(broken spring) but problem still persists, sloppy gear lever not selecting gears properly im stumped here??
