I know this is outside the area of most of our members But I thought I'd post it as a few of our west Yorkshire members might be thinking of visiting it or might know someone who goes up there.

Ive been before and its awesome, also the local asda dont mind if you abandon your filthy landy there for a week because its bust!
Didnt see the Po' there but i have friends who got stopped whilst driving there and got accused of being the fathers of terrorist kids on mini bikes!!!

cant advocate the use of this place matey it has a section 59 on it prohibition so do not go there, continued use helps support negative press against off roading in any form!!!

I agree........ it was only untill the other day i found out it was a unmanned site like the flappits, it gets a lot of hype on the internet and i was under the impression that it was a organised event.

Im glad i went though. At the time i figured it probably wasnt legit but when you have driven an hour and a half down the M1 its difficult to turn back lol. Probably wont be going again.

If I remember corectly, there is a legal lane that starts there, and runs close to the illegal site.
It's a few years since I did it, but a local lad in the group warned us at the time not too stray off the actual lane because plod was watching the site.
